PAWEŁ SITKIEWICZ
Film and media historian. Professor at the University of Gdańsk. He has published on topics including animation, silent cinema, history of movie-going and graphic novel. Author of four books, including Polska szkoła animacji (Polish School of Animation, 2011), and Miki i myszy. Walt Disney i film rysunkowy w przedwojennej Polsce (Of Mickey and Mice. Walt Disney and Animated Cartoons in Pre-War Poland, 2012).

MAIN JURY
ROBERT TURŁO
Director of animation films, artist, scriptwriter and animator. From 1987 – 1993, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, and in the years 1996 – 1998, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he obtained his diploma from the Graphic Arts Faculty , at the animated film studio of Daniel Szczechura. He is the author of numerous music videos and animated films for children. creatively deals with video mapping. Since 2003 cooperate with TV Animated Film Sudio in Poznań. Winner of over 20 awards at international and national festivals, including the Gold World Medal in
New York, Special Remi Jury Award in Houston, Award “Bronze Cairo”, Children’s Jury Award “Kogut” in Tarnów. Since 2010 he has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk: specialization –
animation.

MAIN JURY
PAULINA WYRT
Creating illustrations since 2012 and animated films since 2005. At that time she worked in an advertising agency and cooperated with a number of book and music publishers, producers of games and toys, co-created social campaigns, ran workshops for children in the field of animation and illustration. Currently working at the University of Arts in Poznań, which she graduated in 2015, majoring in animation.

STUDENT JURY
WIKTORIA ŁUKASZEWICZ
Has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Audiovisual Culture and is currently a student in the master program. Independent digital artist and illustrator, working on several webcomics and her original animation. Creator of her freelance animation project about West African mythology, which is yet to be released. Currently undertaking an internship in one of Warsaw’s movie production companies.

STUDENT JURY
KINGA PAŁCZYŃSKA
Student of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, specializing in animation. Currently, she is starting work on her diploma. She mainly creates animations using coffee but also tries to animate in different techniques. In her art related to the field of intermedia, she refers to topics related to folklor, especially related to her family home.

STUDENT JURY
MARCIN ROMANIK
A first-year Master's student of Film Studies at the University of Gdańsk. Author of the short animation "In the Green Room" (2018) shown at the Refleks;ja festival. Winner of the audience award at Cineramafest for his short film "No Time to Lose" (2018). Creator of the graduation animated film "System" (2020). Currently working on a new animated film for children.

ANIMADOC CONFERENCE COORDINATOR
AGNIESZKA POWIERSKA
A graduate of film studies and art history at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Film and museum educator. In 2019, she defended the doctoral dissertation Animated documentary / documentary animation – expanding the boundaries of non-fictional narratives. Film education specialist in Ferment Kolektiv, co-author of educational projects for the cinema chain Multikino. Her articles were published in ‘Quart. Kwartalnik Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego’ and ‘Images. The International Journal of European Film, Performing Arts and Audiovisual Communication’.

Born in 1984 in Łódź, Poland. Initiator and director of ANIMATION ACROSS BORDERS (2012-), “O!PLA” ANIMATION FESTIVAL in Poland (2013-), Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival in port cities (2019-), co-creator and programme director of CRAFT International Animation Festival in Yogyakarta (2017-, Java, Indonesia); coordinator of Polish chapter of StopTrik International Film Festival (2016-), co-founder and program director of the Polish-Russian Animated Film Festival DIALOGI / Диалоги in Łódź (2020-) and the International Futurological Film Festival (2021). The organizer of the International Animation Day in Łódź (2012-). Curator, juror (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain), initiator and coordinator of various cultural and artistic projects.
