TOWER MADE FROM BLOCKS
Some stories stick to our thoughts, hearts and feel so strongly that they are hard to forget, they stay in the head for a long time. This was the case with the extremely touching story told in the play directed by Arkadiusz Buszko, "Tower of Blocks", the script of which (based on a book by Katarzyna Kotowska) inspired the creators to create a film etude using the stop-motion animation technique. Record of experiences resulting from the decision to raise an adopted child in the impressionistic form of a film etude, it moves and provokes reflection. The story of love and, above all, the consequences of its lack and the great need to satisfy it is a step towards disenchanting adoption, which is still a taboo subject for many.

Mixed-media and an animated sketchbook aesthetic, together with the collaging of fragments of music and sound, accompany their retrieval of memories, and the director's efforts to understand their experiences.
