Believer is a web-based art experience raising awareness on the need for media literacy and self-criticality. Through presenting how falsehood affects us, the work portrays a satirical caricature of contemporary society.

Maarten Isaäk de Heer is a Berlin-based animation artist. Every 2-3 years he produces one piece of independent animation. His works explore various forms such as installations of animated painting, 360° panorama, VR, lenticular print and most recently animated wildlifedocumentary.

In 2020 he started Menetekel Film; a productioncompany with a focus on bad omens.

Martyna Sikończyk is an ambitious animation student at UWE Bristol. She feels strongly about animation's potential for emotionally resonant storytelling. When not drawing, she bakes bread and worries about the aphids on her basil plant.

Strange Occurrences: Bukit Bulabu is a fictional ghost documentary done in stop motion. The story takes place in Singapore and involves a Singaporean influencer, a German Professor and a Singaporean Auntie who is a “superstitions expert”. With the interviewees recounting their haunted experience at the rediscovered colonial bathroom atop Bukit Bulabu, an underlying family history between the three characters unfolds.
