Piotr Kardas
Founder & Director
AKA Animation Across Borders; initiator and director of the O!PLA Animation Film Festival in Poland (2013-) and Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival, not only in port cities (2019-), co-creator and program director of CRAFT International Animation Festival in Yogyakarta (2017-, Java, Indonesia); coordinator of Polish chapter of Polish-Slovenian StopTrik International Film Festival in Łódź (2016-); co-creator of several others film festivals. The organizer of the International Animation Day in Poland (2012-). Curator and juror in Poland and abroad. He studied Film Theory and New Media (University of Lodz). From 2010 to 2012 he worked for Se-ma-for Film Production, Se-ma-for Film Foundation, and ARS INDEPENDENT International Film Festival.
Agnieszka Powierska
Conference Coordinator
Film educator, academic lecturer. In 2019, she defended her doctoral dissertation on animated documentary. Currently, she conducts media courses for students of the State University of Applied Sciences in Włocławek, co-creates a web portal about film in education (filmwszkole.pl) and gladly studies Ecopoetics.
Zuzanna Szor

An artist born and raised in Lodz, where she currently studies animation at National Film School. She is an avid painter, radio speaker, vegan and activist.
