Meet The Jury

Ukończyła warszawskie Państwowe Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych, Malarstwo na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych oraz kurs animacji w Studio Miniatur Filmowych. Od roku 2004 pracuje w Serafiński Studio, gdzie powstały wszystkie jej filmy autorskie, wpisujące się w paradygmat animowanych dokumentów, w tym zwłaszcza "Dokumanimo", "Dwa Żywioły" i "Rok". Jest też producentką pełnometrażowego anidoc JANKA Adeli Kaczmarek-Siwińskiej. W 2009 roku założyła studio filmowe ANIMASO. Od roku 2017 prowadzi Serafiński Studio. Miała 9 wystaw indywidualnych prezentujących kolaże, tkaniny oraz zbiory artystyczne, a jej animacje autorskie zebrały w sumie 16 nagród. Jest też ekspertką w komisji PISF oraz autorką strony internetowej o nazwie Warszawskie posadzki.

A graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she completed her MA degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1995, she did an animation course at Studio Miniatur Filmowych. For several years, she has been combining the work of a hired animator with her own artistic work. These two paths have met in her film debut “Dokumanimo”. She is the author of several animated documentaries, including the most famous - ROK. She is also the producer of the feature-length anidoc JANKA by Adela Kaczmarek-Siwińska. She has had 9 solo exhibitions presenting collages, textiles and art collections, and her original animations have won a total of 16 awards. Expert on the Polish Film Institute commission. She runs a Facebook page called "Warszawskie posadzki".

reżyserka; ukończyła Szkołę Filmową im. Krzysztofa Kieślowskiego Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach oraz filmoznawstwo na Uniwersytecie Łódzkim. Jest autorką filmów dokumentalnych m.in. o Arktyce: „Gorączka polarna” – o naukowcach na Spitsbergenie oraz „Między światami” –  o samobójstwach wśród Inuitów w Kanadzie. Film dokumentalny „Niebo bez gwiazd” opowiadający o miłości między ojcem, który traci wzrok, i jego synkiem, był wielokrotnie nagradzany na festiwalach. Razem z Dagmarą Bożek napisała książkę „Henryk Arctowski. W świecie myśli - pierwszą biografię polskiego polarnika i naukowca. Na realizację swoich projektów otrzymała m.in. Stypendium „Młoda Polska” oraz Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Za autorskie słuchowisko „Autarkia” otrzymała II nagrodę w konkursie „Nasłuchiwanie: Niepodległość”. Wyreżyserowała spektakle :„Zanikam” Arnego Lygre, „Godzina Kota” Pera Olova Enquista oraz musical „Powoli Molly” Katarzyny Mazurkiewicz. Współpracowała z TVP Łódź jako dziennikarka i reportażystka.

​film director (graduated from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice and film studies at the University of Łódź). Author of documentary films, i.a. about the „Arctic: An Arctic Syndrome” – about scientists in Spitsbergen – and “Between the worlds” – about suicide among the Inuit in Nunavut, in the Canadian Arctic. Her documentary „A sky without stars”, about the love between a father losing his vision and his little son, has won numerous awards at film festivals. Together with Dagmara Bożek, she wrote a book - "Henryk Arctowski. In a World of Thoughts" - the first biography of a Polish polar explorer and scientist. She has also co-operated with theatres, where she directed: “I Disappear” by Arne Lygre, “The Hour of the Lynx” by Per Olov Enquist and musical „Powoli Molly” by Katarzyny Mazurkiewicz. She worked at TVP Łódź as a journalist and reporter.

Animator kultury w Płockim Ośrodku Kultury i Sztuki, im. Themersonów, gdzie współprowadzi z żoną - Elizą, Pracownię Tworzenia Obrazów Ruchomych TOR.

Jest inicjatorem powstania w Płocku Kina za Rogiem. Kino działa od 10 lat i niemal od samego początku było lokalnym organizatorem festiwalu O!PLA. 5 lat temu przy kinie powołał Klub Filmowy POD GILEM. Jest twórcą pierwszego polskiego bloga o sztuce brut i innych zjawiska outsider art – znalezienie.pl. Od 2002 roku, wspólnie z Andrzejem Kwasiborskim, jeździ po Polsce w poszukiwaniu ludzi i miejsc związanych z Art Brut oraz organizuje wystawy tej sztuki w Płocku. Od 2021 realizują projekt „INNI. Sztuka jest tam, gdzie nikt nie szuka”, którego celem jest tworzenie portretów filmowych twórców art brut i outsiders art. Dotąd, w ramach projektu, powstało 6 filmów krótkometrażowych, które były prezentowane w Polsce i za granicą, m.in. na HORS CHAMP Festival Film d’Art Singulier w Nicei (Francja) oraz na Art Brut Film w Ołomuńcu (Czechy). W przygotowaniu są cztery kolejne.

W czerwcu 2025, w ramach polskiej prezydencji w Radzie UE, zorganizował w Płocku pierwszą edycję BRUdoc – międzynarodowego festiwalu filmu i sztuki Brut i Outsider. W chwilach wolnych zajmuje się komputerową grafiką użytkową oraz eksploracją dzikich zakątków płocka i okolic. Członek stowarzyszenia ekologicznego zaDRZEWieni.

A cultural animator at the Płock Cultural and Art Center, named after the Themersons, where he and his wife, Eliza, run the TOR Stop-Motion Animation Workshop.

He is the driving force behind Kino za Rogiem in Płock, a cinema that has been operating for a decade and has been a local hub for the O!PLA festival almost from the start. Five years ago, he founded the POD GILEM Film Club there. He also created the first Polish blog dedicated to Art Brut and other Outsider Art phenomena znalezienie.pl. Since 2002, together with Andrzej Kwasiborski, he has been traveling across Poland in search of Art Brut creators and locations, while organizing exhibitions of this art in Płock.

Since 2021, they have been developing the project “DIFFERENTS. Art is Where No One Looks,” which focuses on creating cinematic portraits of Art Brut and Outsider Art artists. To date, the project has produced six short films, shown both in Poland and abroad, including at the HORS CHAMP Festival Film d’Art Singulier in Nice (France) and Art Brut Film in Olomouc (Czech Republic). Four more films are currently in the works.

In June 2025, during Poland’s presidency of the Council of the European Union, he launched the first edition of BRUdoc in Płock – an international festival dedicated to Brut and Outsider film and art. In his spare time, he pursues digital graphic design and explores the hidden corners of Płock and its surroundings. He is also a member of the ecological association zaDRZEWieni.

Studentka Grafiki na Uniwersytecie Zielonogórskim. Angażuje się w studenckie koło naukowe zajmujące się grafiką i animacją, w ramach którego współorganizuje projekty artystyczne i kulturowe. Uczestniczka wystaw. Interesuje się różnorodnymi technikami w animacji, od klasycznych po eksperymentalne. Równolegle rozwija pasję do fotografii oraz malarstwa

Graphic Design student at the University of Zielona Góra. She is actively involved in a student research group focused on graphic design and animation, within which she co-organizes artistic and cultural projects. Participant of exhibitions. She is interested in a wide range of animation techniques, from classical to experimental. At the same time, she develops her passion for photography and painting.

Artystka interdyscyplinarna, mieszka i tworzy w Warszawie. W swojej twórczości, skoncentrowanej na problematyce cielesności, płci, tożsamości narodowej i kontekstów nowych mediów, posługuje się przede wszystkim malarstwem, wideo i animacją, fotografią i tworzeniem obiektów. Obecnie studiuje na Wydziale Sztuki Mediów Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie.

Warsaw-based interdisciplinary artist, creating between the boundaries of painting, video art and animation, photography and object-making. Her work is focused on the themes of corporeality, gender, national identity and the contexts of new media. She is currently studying at the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. 

Absolwentka studiów filmoznawczych I stopnia na Uniwersytecie Łódzkim, obecnie kontynuuje naukę na kierunku Media Audiowizualne i Kultura Cyfrowa. Interesuje się sztuką użytkową, filmem eksperymentalnym i kulturą popularną. W badaniach podejmuje tematy dotyczące władzy symbolicznej oraz szeroko rozumianej propagandy.

W 2023 roku zasiadała w jury KNF UŁ Międzynarodowego Konkursu Authors Spotlight (Festiwal Kamera Akcja) oraz jury MFF StopTrik PL. W 2024 roku była selekcjonerką filmów do Międzynarodowego Konkursu Authors Spotlight (Festiwal Kamera Akcja).

She graduated from the University of Lodz with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Media and Digital Culture at the same university. Her interests include applied arts, experimental film, and popular culture. In her research, she focuses on symbolic power and propaganda in the broadest sense.

In 2023, she was a member of the jury of the University of Lodz Film Studies Student Association (Koło Naukowe Filmoznawców UŁ), for the International Authors Spotlight Competition (Camera Action Film Festival), and also served on the jury of the StopTrik PL International Film Festival. In 2024, she was a film selector for the International Authors Spotlight Competition (Camera Action Film Festival).

Studentka Wydziału Sztuki Mediów Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. Jej fascynacja animacją zaczęła się w dzieciństwie, gdy „Król  Lew” odtwarzany z kasety VHS stał się początkiem wieloletniej pasji. Współtwórczyni animacji „Cechy Wspólne”, zakwalifikowanej do festiwalu O!PLA. Autorka projektu Chomik Szeryf - animowanego alter ego, poprzez które  edukuje w Internecie o zwierzętach i angażuje się w działania na rzecz ich dobrostanu.

A student of the Faculty of Media Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She is the co-creator of the animation "Cechy Wspólne" (Common Features), which qualified for the O!PLA festival. She is also the creator of the project "Chomik Szeryf" (Sheriff the Hamster), an animated alter ego through which she educates online about animals and engages in activities promoting their welfare.

Absolwentka Historii Sztuki na Uniwersytecie Łódzkim i studentka Scenariopisarstwa w Szkole Filmowej w Łodzi. W swoich scenariuszach stara się łączyć pasję do sztuki dawnej i współczesnej oraz gatunku science-fiction. Jest autorką scenariuszy do filmów krótkometrażowych, w tym animacji.

Graduate of Art History at the University of Lodz and a Screenwriting student at the Lodz Film School. In her screenplays she tries to combine her passion for traditional and contemporary art with science-fiction genre. She has writen screenplays for short films, including animations.
